We are thrilled to announce a significant expansion of the HANYC Foundation's annual scholarship awards from four to six with an opportunity for first year college students to apply for two of them!! The six scholarship awards are of $10,000 each. Four of the scholarship awards will go to graduating high school seniors and two will go to students who are completing their first year of college.

Our online application system is now open and we are accepting applications for the 2025 Scholarship Awards. All applications must be submitted online.

To be eligible to enter this year's scholarship awards program, the applicant must be either a senior student in high school who is planning to attend an accredited four-year college in the fall or a current freshman at an accredited four-year college, and is the son/daughter/legal ward of an employee who is currently employed in a non-union management, administrative or similar capacity in a member property of the Hotel Association of New York City. The employee must also have a minimum total of five (5) years work experience at member properties of the Hotel Association of New York City.
